iConstituent, the leading provider of government to constituent communications, announced today that it has promoted Derek Haller to the position of Director of Product. Derek will help lead a growing team of engineers and designers to further capitalize on iConstituent’s growing Constituent and Correspondence Management Software (CRM). Derek has worked on software solutions for government for over 7 years and brings with him a track record of leading high-performance, high-result products that include the complete redesign of iConstituent’s Constituent Gateway eNewsletter platform, the introduction of Congress’s first Social Media and Facebook Advertising Dashboard, and the continued evolution of the Constituent Gateway CRM to its current utilization by almost 20 percent of the United States Congress. In this expanded role, Derek will oversee iConstituent’s product management functions, drive the company’s product vision and strategy, set the roadmap for iConstituent’s product future, and help to position iConstituent for the next phase of its product growth in the government sector.
“Derek’s deep understanding of our markets, our customers, and how technology can drive innovative solutions for their needs is exactly what iConstituent requires to take our company to the next level of government to constituent communications,” said Zain Khan, Chief Executive Officer of iConstituent. “Derek’s track record at iConstituent speaks for itself, having spent the last three years as the Product Manager for our full portfolio of innovative e-communication solutions.”
Derek Haller is based out of iConstituent’s Washington, DC headquarters and is a native Washingtonian. Prior to working for iConstituent, Derek worked as a Product Manager for InterAmerica Technologies – which was acquired by iConstituent in 2010. Commenting about the new position, Derek said, “I’m looking forward to helping iConstituent develop the next generation solutions government is demanding. iConstituent has a terrific team, a clear and compelling mission, and an opportunity to truly use software to transform the way constituent’s and their government communicate. I am excited for the future and iConstituent’s position as the vanguard of innovation in creating meaningful relationships between government and their constituents.”
Under Derek’s leadership, the iConstituent’s product team plans to grow through the rest of 2013 and into 2014. With recent hires and growing market share in both Congress and State Legislators, Derek feels that: “My career in the software development of products tailor made for Elected Officials affords me unique and valuable insight into identifying what the market really wants from their solutions and how we will get there as a company.
